2. Mr Daniel Mackenzie was born on 3 Jan 1822 in Paisley, Scotland (22 miles west of central Glasgow). He was christened on 20 Jan 1822, and died about 1868 in Scotland aged about 46.

• Occupation: Coal miner.

Daniel married Charlotte Campbell, daughter of Alexander Campbell and Margaret Campbell, on 9 Mar 1846 in Coatbridge (East Glasgow). Charlotte was born on 11 Aug 1820, was christened on 22 Aug 1820 in Argyll, Scotland, and died on 24 Aug 1885 in (115 Douglas St) Glasgow, Scotland at age 65.

+ 3 F    i. Miss Elizabeth Mackenzie was born on 21 Jul 1846 in Scotland, died on 6 Jul 1928 in Caulfield (Melbourne), Australia at age 81, and was buried in St Kilda Cemetery.

+ 4 M    ii. Mr John Mackenzie was born about 1848 in Baillieston, Lanarkshire, Scotland and died in 1928 in Elsternwick (Melbourne), Vic, Australia aged about 80.

+ 5 M    iii. Mr Daniel Mackenzie was born on 9 Mar 1850 in Seaton Burn, North East England, died on 11 Dec 1936 in 540 Neerim Rd, Carnegie (Melbourne), Vic, Australia at age 86, and was buried in St Kilda Cemetery.

+ 6 F    iv. Margaret Mackenzie was born in 1852 in Scotland and died in 1935 in USA at age 83.

+ 7 F    v. Janet Mackenzie was born in 1856 in Scotland, died in childbirth on 16 Jan 1896 at St Enoch's, Elsternwick (Melbourne), Australia at age 40, and was buried in St Kilda Cemetery.
